Elations Designs is a wedding and event planning company that I created eight years ago. Throughout the years, weddings have evolved into something major and amazing. I have just continued to move forward with the trends and work to be more creative and innovative. No cookie cutters or imitations. What you will see is the real thing. One hit and the rest is history.

Simple Stunning Bride by Karen Bussen

One lucky bride from our upcoming event, An Engagement, will have the opportunity to bring home the newest book from Karen Bussen’s  Simple Stunning wedding book series.  Every book Karen has written is full of gorgeous wedding and entertaining inspiration. 

Karen is not only very talented but one of the nicest and giving individuals I have had the pleasure of meeting.  I remember eight years ago, when I first started Elations Designs, I had the pleasure of  meeting with Karen at her New York City office to discuss wedding flowers and the industry as a whole.  She gave me profound information that I carry with me today.

Annual Seminar Stationery-Papered Wonders

As we get ready for this year’s seminar on July 25th at The Hilton Garden Inn Richmond Downtown/Miller Roads we are taking a look back at last year’s exclusive stationery company, Papered Wonders.  This company comprised of talented females, designed and printed every piece of stationery for our event.  We had menu cards, escort cards, and programs custom made in our preferred color palette black and bright yellow.  We were extremely pleased with every piece and even more pleased that we received our stationery in a quick turnaround time.  If you haven’t yet selected your event stationer please visit the ladies over at Papered Wonders and tell them where you found them.

Eco-BeautifulWeddings Magazine Feature

Eco-beautifulweddings.com,  if you don’t know already  is one of the most amazing online wedding magazines to hit the cyber stands.  The name speaks for itself with pages full of gorgeous eco-friendly weddings and ideas without comprising quality and beauty.  Thank you to the amazing Katie Martin, and Michelle Slaughter of Eco-Beautifulweddings.com for the invitation to contribute to their summer issue and for trusting in my vision!

Special thank you to my photographers who hit this shoot out of the park.  I cannot say enough great things about Jennie & Alyssa Roh of Photoria Studio.  I loved every minute of our time during this shoot and we have so much more to show you so visit back and also visit Photoria Studio’s blog for more of their recent work.

I must also thank Samantha Brooks and the entire staff at Hotel Palomar-Arlington for their gracious hospitality. This hotel is super chic and they are eco-friendly which was very important to us for this shoot!  If you are planning to travel to Arlington, book a night at this lovely hotel.  I wanted to bring their bathroom home with me.  Yes, it is that gorgeous.

Our etsy vendors that contributed to this event are all talented and we will recap in another post with their handmade items.  Thank you all!
